" The heart of a volunteer is not measured in size, but by the depth of commitment to make a different in the lives of others." - DeAnn Hollis

Colorado has a long tradition of people volunteering to improve the lives of others. 9NEWS and Regis University are proud to honor these outstanding volunteers with the 9Who Care program.

For 25 years, 9News has honored outstanding volunteers with the 9Who Care program.

One individual a month, from September through May, will be chosen to receive the 9Who Care Award. His/her story will be featured on the first Friday of the month in our 5am, 7 am, and 4pm newscasts, then again on the following Saturday in the 7am and 5pm newscasts. They also receive a cash award and are featured on 9News.com

We encourage you to help us honor those who help others by nominating an outstanding volunteer.
